28 Weeks! Start of the 3rd Trimester!

Yikes!!!! I'm officially in the 3rd and FINAL trimester!  People have started asking if the time is going by fast.  My answer is, "it depends on what day you ask me."  I feel like some days I've been pregnant for ages and still have 2 1/2 months to go.  Other days I freak out because OH MY GOODNESS I'm going to have a little girl to take care of in *gasp* 2 1/2 months!!!!  I know the time will be here before we know it.

28 Weeks exactly!
It is really fun as you can tell by my 28 week picture (I am now 29 1/2 weeks) that I have really started to pop.  Now people everywhere I go ask or make comments about the pregnancy.  I know some people get annoyed with the attention, but I am enjoying it.  However, that may change if it continues non-stop for another couple months. hehehe.

Other big news is Spencer and I bought property!!!!!  It is in Spring Branch, TX about 35 miles north of downtown San Antonio.  For those of you unfamiliar with Texas this is the COUNTRY.  It still boggles my mind that you can go less than 30 miles from a downtown area and be in the "sticks".  We LOVE it though!  It is a 1.2 acre lot on a culd-de-sac with lots of oak trees! It is just the land for now and it will be a while before we start building a house on it, but it's ours!!!!  There is just SO much land out here.

Spencer and I were running errands Saturday and I was sitting in the car waiting for him to finish up an errand when I heard this ad on the radio.  Owner financing guaranteed, 1 to 3 acre lots, and the prices, oh the prices were too good to be true.  So, we figured we were already headed that way so why not look?!?! Welp, the ad was no fib and we walked in looked at the property and had land all withing a few hours!  Way easier than buying a car! I can't tell you the price because I would be worried all the California people would all jump on the Texas bandwagon hehehe ;).  Here are a few pictures from their website, I didn't think to take any while we were looking.
Oh ya and the best part is there is a private river park with access to the Guadalupe River.  This river is so fun to just hop on an intertube and float.  Lots of people in the summer take their families with an ice chest and just cruise.  Total blast!!!

This is what most of the property looks like with oaks and cedar trees (the cedars will get pulled out because they are mostly shrubs).  This is the "Hill Country"  so there is lots of rolling hills, greenery, and right now TONS of wild flowers.  It is so pretty and we are just SO excited!

Tomorrow, my mom, both sisters, Spencer, and I are all going to Babies R' Us to register for the baby shower.  Since the last post we settled on a date of May 28th (Memorial Day) for the shower, so now we have to register.  We basically know what we want and we are bringing the gang so we don't forget any of the small stuff that I would never think of being a first time mom.  We also have to have Maia there to show us the ropes with the carseat. I'm really excited because this just makes it that much more official.

Guess that's it from the Scott's.  Our little girl has been moving around tons and tons!  There doesn't seem to be a very long period of time that I go without feeling her now!  Spencer felt her kick SUPER hard the other night and was a little shocked at how hard it was.  I said see I'm not making it up when I say "ouch" sometimes.  This little girl packs a mean punch, just like her mama :). We are happy and excited! Life is going in a great direction for us. Our last doctor's appointment was at 26 weeks (3/14) with a great report. We go again next Wednesday 4/11 at 30 weeks!  This appointment is the last of the once a months then we start going every 2 weeks!  We are inn the home stretch!
